Brief introduction:

You may select from a range of urethane materials with properties that simulate the thermoplastic materials often used in production.  This process produces small and large parts with excellent part detail. Cast Urethane Molding is a great process for pre-production runs and low volume manufacturing.

Material: Clear PU like acrylic.


Production Process:

1.Get a solid drawing file from our client.

2.Create a master pattern according to the solid file.

The master pattern can be made by CNC machining, 3D printing or even a real product sent from our client.


3.Create the silicone mold.

The RTV mold is created from a master pattern, typically an RP model. The silicone is poured around the pattern to produce a core and cavity of a mold. The RP model is then removed, leaving a negative image into which polyurethane is cast.

4.Pour liquid urethane into the silicone mold and dry the urethane by vacuum machines and oven.

5.Release the copied pieces off silicone mold.

6.Debur and clean the surfaces.
