What Are The Factors That Affect The Price Of Models?

- Jun 08, 2018 -

Although the CNC prototype is common, many users think that its price is too high. Actually it is not. Many of the business of hand-saws are priced after viewing the 3D drawings. If the following factors appear in the 3D drawings, the difficulty will increase. The price will naturally be higher:

First, the accuracy and surface roughness of the parts being processed: If required to 0.01mm tolerance requirements, no matter the processing equipment or technical master, the requirements are relatively high, and the cost will be much higher;

Second, the structure and size of the parts being processed: If the product structure is complex, the processing cost will be much higher; if the overall size of the product is large or the appearance is a curved surface, the processing cost will also increase a lot.

Third, if the processing of parts of the material is difficult to process materials, such as stainless steel, material hardness, need to use tungsten steel hardened cutter, and the computer rake need to be Taiwan or Japan machine to do, although the cost will be processed with ordinary materials higher.

Fourth, there are many craftsmanship in the prototype model factory, including cnc processing, grinding, fuel injection, screen printing, wire drawing, watermarking, electroplating, laser carving, etc. In general, the model does not require so many crafts, but one of ours is done. The customers of the juice machine model are all used in these processes, and the price is naturally higher.

The factors that affect the price of the CNC prototype are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

1. Accuracy and surface roughness of parts processed by CNC prototype manufacturers: If required to 0.01mm tolerance, no matter the processing equipment or technical master, the requirements are relatively high, and the cost will be much higher;

2. The structure and size of CNC machined parts: if the product structure is complex, the processing cost will be much higher; if the overall size of the product is large or the appearance is a curved surface, the processing cost will increase too much.

3. If CNC machined parts are made of hard-to-process materials, such as stainless steel, the hardness of the material is high, and hardened steel tools are needed. The computer must be equipped with a Taiwan or Japanese machine, although the cost will be lower than that of ordinary machines. Material processing is high.
