Compared with 3D printing, CNC handboard has the greatest advantage in material richness and practicability. The main purpose of the handboard is to verify the feasibility of product design, so the material of the opponent board is also very particular. Each company's products are not the same, and the hand model that needs to be produced is also different. Therefore, the materials may be different. However, the main processing materials include the following:

1, ABS: general use for general product shell, with good welding strength, can be applied to surface metallization projects, such as water electroplating, vacuum evaporation plating, material specifications are plate, round bar and so on. ABS is divided into ordinary grades and fireproof grades, which is basically the same as the performance of injection molding plastics, so it is most widely used in the Shouban industry;

       2, PC: material with good strength, toughness, and transparency, suitable for Lens, fine structure parts production. The addition of glass fiber to improve the rigidity and heat resistance of the plate can be used to make parts that need to maintain high rigidity in high temperature environments. PC also has UL94-V0 fire rating;

       3, PMMA: Acrylic, or plexiglass. It is a good transparent part. The material that produces the best transparency can be dyed, electroplated, sprayed, and screen printed. The strength of welding is acceptable, but brittle and brittle is its weak point. It is not suitable for the use of fragile places such as hooks;

       4, PP: translucent material, good impact resistance, excellent flexibility, can be applied to the production of shock-resistant conditions, such as: automotive supplies, folded box and so on.

       5, PA66 + GF30: PA66 + GF30 is not a model, is the general name of the PA66 plastic raw materials plus 30% glass fiber. High-strength, special thermal stability, hydrolysis resistance, suitable for automotive parts, mechanical parts and so on. For mechanical parts shields that require high rigidity and dimensional stability. Red phosphorus flame retardant long-term stability, with excellent mechanical properties;

       6, POM: Chinese is called poly methyl hydrazine raw material, also known as polyoxyethylene methine raw materials. Shougang is often referred to as the Shougang in the Shouban industry. Its molecular structure and crystallinity make its physical and mechanical properties excellent. It is also known as metal plastic. Suitable for high-strength workpieces in hand model, such as: gears, shafts, brackets, etc.;

       7. Teflon: Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a chemical name commonly referred to as "non-stick coating" or "clean material." This material has the characteristics of resistance to acids and alkalis, resistance to various organic solvents, and is almost insoluble in all solvents. At the same time, PTFE has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, its low coefficient of friction, so it can be used as a lubricating effect, but also become the ideal coating for easy cleaning the inner layer of the water pipe;

        8. Aluminum alloy: Aluminum alloy is the most widely used type of non-ferrous metal structural material in the hand model, which has been widely used in aviation, aerospace, automotive, medical, and shipboard models. At present, the most widely used alloys for aluminum alloys are the advantages of easy processing, good rigidity, and rich anode coloring.

        9, magnesium alloy: light weight, good strength, is a consumer 3C like to use materials. The disadvantage is that magnesium is a flammable metal. It is very important to control the environment during mechanical processing. The risk of model making is high. There are many mechanical processing projects after die-casting during production. It is a high-cost application material;

       10. Brass: Brass is an alloy composed of copper and zinc. Brass composed of copper and zinc is called ordinary brass. If it is composed of more than two kinds of elements, it is called special yellow. copper. Brass has strong wear resistance. Brass is often used to replace stainless steel and other difficult-to-engrave materials in the hand model. After polishing and plating, the surface effect and feel are very similar to stainless steel.
