Brushing -----Surface finishing, Surface treatment on prototype.(8)

- Jun 06, 2018 -

During the whole process of hand-slab processing, most of the hand-made plates undergo surface treatment through appropriate processing methods (CNC or 3D printing). The purpose of the surface treatment is to satisfy corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, decorativeness or other SP requirements. The product features a full range of functions and there are dozens of processing techniques for the prototyping processing. As a large-scale hand-saw factory, RMT PRODUCTS CO., LTD can provide most of the surface processing requirements for manual processing, and has a standardized production process. Next, it introduces the surface treatment technologies commonly used in manual processing.

Brushing is a kind of surface treatment method for forming decorative lines on the surface of a workpiece by grinding products. Wire drawing can well reflect the texture of metal materials, so that the surface of the metal can obtain non-mirror metallic luster, and can be divided according to surface effects. Straight lines (hairline) and lines (snowflake).

The types of silk patterns are very subjective. Each user has different requirements for surface lines and different preferences for line effects. Therefore, a drawing template is required to meet the user's requirements. Arcs (circular surfaces and right-angled intersections are difficult to see, unevenly painted), painted surfaces (metal color surfaces can be painted with small fin lines) are not suitable for
